The beginings - Lvl 1-60
WoW was my first mmorpg. Although I started more or less soon (3rd day since it was out) I was obviously a n00b. I took on blacksmithing for example because you couldn't get it at Darnassus but had to travel to Darkshore, so I thought, hey , no one is ever gonna take this skill, I'll be the only one and be rich!. Well... xD. At this point I was just flipping out with the game as I guess everyone was. Up to lvl 35 not much happened, except one great and stupid pvp raid at lvl 28. For me, who had only seen max 10 players on screen, to see a 30 man raid on /follow to the leader going through ashenvale up to the barrens and then fighting the horde was like being a kid in xmas morning. About then I joined my first guild, La legión Ardiente, in which I met great guys and made even better friends. There was only 10-12 players at "high level" so we always quested together and instanced together.
Then at 57 one day Juanjitus and Isabella catch me and say: Hey, what ya doing this afternoon? Nothing? You coming Molten Core! (I had not steped in BRD yet). WTF is that? Shut up and do as you are told. Ok then. They take me to this weird citadel well underground with black dwarfes and this guys using this really cool blue ets killing them all and cleaning the way up to this green door instance. Needless to say, one of the best afternoons ever at the time. And I wanna mention, Trylun took me along the whole raid explaining me on each mob what to dps and how. Was extremely kind. Yes. Trylun :)
Ding, 60!
I started doing my little UBRS, Strat and Scholo raids from lvl 58 with... SPARTACUS! Must say at lvl 58 I used taunt for the very first time xD. Back at the time the guilds didn't have enough guys to do those by themselves so a secret alliance was formed. Was basically the best of 5-6 guilds would get together to do this groups. You could only get in if one of the group invited you, and you would only be invited back if you did well. Was great to start building my reputation there. As things progressed, Spartacus (who might have been an ass but had his good things) started trying to put forward the idea that we needed to unite and colaborate to progress. At this stage we tried the first Azuregus try with a pug group. It went... special xD But we hold the honor of getting him to 72% on the first try, which was not broken until 1 year after on a group's first attempt on the boss. You might remember a great pop-corn post about this :)

After that we tried MC on 2 different saturdays. I run guys through BRD to get their quest done for 3 hr 45 min the first day and 4 hr 30 min the second. First day raid was canceled when I had gotten 32 attuned, and the second we tried some and left after an hour. Coulda gone better ^^

But these things showed us that we could actually work together. The guild leaders used to meet once a week to discuss the alliance between guilds and finally an ide arose: to create The Guild Union, an alliance of guilds with a common channel to arrange partys and another for officers to arrange the raids. I myself started building the webpage and the forums, but sadly in 1 week barely 5 guys signed in. I was quite depressed with all the work done, and took a hard decision.
Headhunters
The guild union was going nowhere and all the job I had done was useless. I decided to join the evil raid guilds! I had 2 options, to go with Trylun who had offered me a spot or to join a friend with which I had levled from 50 to 60: Unordinary. At the end, you must choose the one with bigger tits. Was funny though because I was so n00b I actually thought getting in this guilds was easy. I didn't apply or anything, just whispered uno to invite me xD (must say I have never applied to join a guild yet :P)
Well at the evil HHs I must say I had a great time, they taught me everything. After some time inside Okew took a new job and couldn't play anymore, so in between the confusion a second tank was needed... and by chance, luck or a drunk officer, I was chosen. Started doing my full MC tanking and ragnaros MT2ing.

After a bit guys started to see me as reliable and I was allowed to lead some raids. Was shortly after the first ragnaros kill so BWL and ZG were all around, was a great time to play wow with BWL ahead of us.

Although there were great times at HHs I wanna particularly recall 3:
1) Mid MC raid at summer Unordinary logs on and me (who had been preparing this all afternoon) go on guild chat:
- Unordinary, you have been the best friend and companion a guy can ask for, you helped me level, you helped me gear, you are even the reason why I got in HHs.
- And so, I wanna give you back all you given to me in great amount, to take care of you and to make you happy.
- /gets on one knee
- uno, will you marry me?
Well uno had me on ignore for like 3 months when guys actually started getting tuxedos crafted and came with them to raids.
2) 2 great ninja pulls at MC: me on the phone moved straight to ragnaros when he was spawned as if he wasnt there and we were positioning before he spawned. Wasted 1 hour of getting everyone buffed at ubrs xD. and the second, Rolore folling off the cliff on the way to lucifron, pulling Golemag and all the adds on the way up xD.
3) Firemaw day (1st kill): first rolore says quick afk and came back 23 hours after (next day, said he went to catch a coke, saw porn on tv and stayed there), and me dying ON THE SAME TRY 9 times (was the onlin offtank)
Gonna add some remarkable screenies I got :)
Summer 2005: HH vs Horde (check out the names on that list)

Forging Anoki's Thunderfury:

Server First Thunderfury (I got to tank the server first... whatever his name was xD)

First time we reached Nefarian:

The Big Break
Well then December came and I had some rl problems that made leave the game for 2 months, fully. No login at all. Olympus and Trylun thought I was pissed with Hhs and hence why I had gone away and offered me a spot on PDM but I told them they had given me so much I had to be loyal to them.
However when I came back I didn't feel at home, many things had changed and to make it short, I wasn't enjoying it there at all. Had also a personal problem with one of the warriors that extremely pissed me off for being a loot whore and bragging about it (hi zhai!) and thinking I wasn't a vital part anymore I took an old offer: I went to PDM. All I can say is that the day I typed gquited I cried for 20 minutes. Honestly.

PDM!
So here I am, just managed to switch from 2 guilds at war with more or less not getting anyone pissed (except lovely Alanya who for some reason made up that I had left HHs because they didnt let me tank and went and told this to silver so he didnt hire me). The change was... it was like going up a step. Way more serious guild, adult raiding, great comunication with officers and the warr channel... there are no words to describe this bit. There has never been 1 problem on the warrior channel, and no one has attacked a warrior in public without another warrior backing him up. That's the warrior channel we had in pdm. Plus I looked up to all the warrs in here so much, they were all like so talented I was very happy to be with them to learn.
See for example the DPS contests we did on the way to broodlord :)

At the time we were doing AQ20 at 3pm and AQ40 at raid time, first time there was for 2nd Twins kill I think. I know some of you say at this time PDM was alredy going down but for me it was really amazing. The C'Thun and Ouro first kills were... this was heaven. I failed my june exams badly and I don't even regret it xD. Gonna show ya some screens of the first try of cthun (all getting mass killed in 1 second) and Ouro.

Oh thats cthun, he looks so coo... wtf?!

YAY! cthun down! oh wait, is that phase 2? WTF ARE ALL THOSE TENTS?!

ZOMG! God down!

Ok so we killed a God, this should be easy... maybe not

PvP
This time was when I started doing PvP heavily for the first time. I got into a team (Rufi, Emknaps, Hémon, the infamous Thecooljoe, Dedr, and later own we merged with The Marhsalls (PvPM)), which was quite interesting, had to forge up a rep myself and although that was hard with my team and having breytak and so around, I think at the end I managed to make my name stand out a bit :P (took stupid amounts of time though xD). I specially liked leading the AV raids, when guys actually asked me to do it and told guys off themselves when they disagreed with me publicly on AV chat. And another fantastic evening was the Arena Tournament.
Last pic is a match of my xBG team, a little channel I made to arrange teams to do PvP casual after the summer. Was really just a carebear chann since I put guys in from all major guilds so we could follow all the dramas xD. Ended up inviting only talented pvpers and good guys so the mood there was really something amazing.

I recall particularly a great night with oly and valsharess at Orgrimmar, 4 maning it (who was the other one that came, I was pretty drunk) and holding up the bank for like 1 hour and a half vs 8 horde at first and 16 horde at the end (how many times did we die? xD)

Naxxramas
Well although some got pissed with us here, I loved this instance. Overall its been talked too much why we didnt do well so i wont go over it, but I enjoyed TONS every single second in there. Even when I had fucking lag for 2 months along with the other spaniards, this intances was heaven.
The very first tries:

Silver & Trylun at Instructor:

Gluth down!

ZOMG this room is sooo cool

Loatheb Macro buffing:

Then we had some weird days...

The End
Notice I don't even talk about TBC :). To me what wow meant ended with 2.0. Although it's been my first mmorpg (well the first serious one, did my tries on some free ones) and at the start I wasn't sure where I wanted to get I must say I'm happy with where I got. I been lucky to see all sides of the game in an advanced and serious way, I been lucky to be in great guilds but specially I think I been very lucky to come across some extremely skilled and friendly lads. You can be a nice and friendly guy but what really makes ya enjoy the game is the mood we had in HHs, in PDM, in my xBG channel, in the PvP and Arena teams and the general mood we got at the Terenas comunity. will miss ya guys :)
